Russ Carpenter's EB7 4bbl. 4 speed GTX

Russ Carpenter owns this nicely restored original 4 speed, 440-4bbl. powered EB7 Jamaico blue metallic 1970 GTX.  Russ bought it second-hand from a guy in Lodi, CA, who bought it in 1998 in Sacramento, and then spent 2 years restoring it.  The car had been sitting in a garage since the mid 1970's.  Due to some front end damage, the past owner had replaced the front fenders and installed a NOS grill.  The original hemi 4 speed transmsision was gone so a replacement A-833 was installed.  With only 63,000 miles on the odometer, the matching numbers motor was rebuilt.  This L.A. built car came from the assembly line with the Track-Pac (3.54 Dana), remote driver's outside mirror, tic-toc-tac, black hood performance paint, power assisted front disc brakes, power steering and airgrabber hood.  The car was sold new from a dealership in California, thus the standard chrome exhaust tips were not installed, but now have been added.  Russ enjoys driving his car and going through the gears using the awesome pistol grip shifter.                                                      (12-25-01 to 1-25-02)
